We're a network for people who don’t fit the tech stereotype.

Our group is visibly led by and explicitly centers the needs of women and people of color in the software industry. We welcome trans, non-binary and genderqueer participants and leaders.

What does [WoC]Code do? ---

[WoC]Code provides a low-pressure and judgement-free environment to learn and develop coding skills. We started as a virtual, international network in 2020 and are now building hackathon teams for local and national events. Joining [WoC]Code will give you access to our Discord server and put you on our email list.

Who should join? ---

We welcome anyone who feels that this is the right environment for them. We do ask that all participants, regardless of their background, be conscientious about the way they conduct themselves and give space to others. We ask that all participants work under the principle that uplifting and empowering people who have less privilege than oneself improves the space for everyone.
